The Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium is hosting the International Symposium on Acoustic Communication by Animals. The conference organizers would like to extend a special invitation to high school students to visit with researchers and witness a professional poster presentation.  There are researchers from all around the country and world coming to this conference.

Please share this with your high school students.  Brief intro by Symposium Chair, followed by a meeting with graduate students at ~ 12:30 PM for brief presentations/Q&A.

  1. Scientists meet with students at 1:00-1:45 PM for brief presentations/Q&A.
  2. 1:45 – 3:00 PM students will view posters and poster presentations.
  3. 3:00 – 5:30 PM students will have an opportunity to hear podium presentations.
  4. Post meeting Q&A session.

This is a great opportunity to network and get your foot in the door.
