The Omaha STEM Ecosystem, in partnership with Project Lead the Way, hosted a virtual presentation, on a key topic that many educators face – engaging and motivating learners in the blended and virtual space of classroom today.  This collaborative session provided tips and tools, on how to build excitement for content delivery and discover meaningful ways to motivate learners to tackle real-world problems. Panelists included, Ryan Higgins, Master Educator at Abraham Lincoln High School, Council Bluffs, IA; Susan Lyons, Master Educator at Pella Middle School, Pella, IA.; Missy Jabens, Career and Academy Administrator, Papillion LaVista School District, NE; and Megan Addison, Executive Director for Collective for Youth, Omaha, NE.  They shared ideas on topics ranging from social/emotional health of students,resources for real-world problem solving and how imposed change with COVID-19 protocols provided opportunities to innovate in the classroom.
