Kode with Klossy
Kode with Klossy is a national non-profit whose focus is to teach girls to code and become leaders in tech. They are thrilled to be hosting a free two-week long coding camps in Omaha for girls aged 13 -18 on July 23- August 3.
In our two-week day camp, girls learn to build web apps and code in a collaborative and creative environment. The program is 100% free for students including laptops for the duration of camp, lunches / snacks as well as transportation stipends, if/as needed.
Girls can apply through a quick, easy and creative application on their website. Their extended application deadline for community members of local partners is Sunday, April 29th 11:59pm PST.

Make your LEGOs come to life! Bring in your favorite action figures or LEGOs and create a short film with your friends. Whether you want to recreate a scene from Star Wars or design a world of your own, this class brings your dreams to the screen. Students will need to bring in LEGOs or action figures from home, but all other equipment is provided. Student-created films will be available on a password protected website to share with friends and family. Students will work in pairs or teams for most of the program. (ages 8-10)

Virtual Reality: The Future is Now
MCC at Do Space 7205 Dodge St 2nd floor Ages 11-14
In this class, you will learn the foundations of VR design by creating your own virtual worlds, exploring simulated environments and crafting memorable 3-D experiences. At the end of the week, you will have a cardboard VR headset to share the new worlds you created. Students do not need a mobile device to take the class but to use the VR headset a camper will need access to an Android or Apple mobile device.
