The STEM Impact Awards is an annual event honoring the champions of our STEM Community. Help us recognize outstanding individuals, programs, or organizations that have made a significant impact in advancing STEM education, access, engagement, or workforce development in our community.
Inspiring Minds
The Inspiring Minds Award honors an exceptional educator who goes above and beyond to spark curiosity and champion STEM learning. This award recognizes a passionate advocate whose dedication to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education empowers all students to think critically, pursue their passions, and build critical skills for our future workforce. Through their leadership and commitment, they inspire young minds and help shape the next generation of problem-solvers and innovators.
- Nominees must be located within the state of Nebraska
- Must be a current educator or principal
Driving Innovation
The Driving Innovation Award honors a business or organization that actively invests in building and strengthening the STEM community. This award recognizes an industry partner whose forward-thinking initiatives, collaborations, and advocacy help expand opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Through their leadership and commitment, they foster innovation, support future talent, and create pathways that inspire the next generation of STEM leaders.

- Must be an active business or organization
Transforming Communities
The Transforming Communities Award honors an individual, business, or nonprofit whose work creates lasting, positive change within the STEM community. This award recognizes a changemaker whose initiatives, partnerships, and advocacy efforts help expand access, promote equity, and inspire innovation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Through their dedication and leadership, they actively help build stronger, more inclusive STEM opportunities in Nebraska that transform the communities they serve.
