In this workshop, we will dissect the new Nebraska College and Career Ready Standards for Science (CCR-Science) adopted in September of 2017.  Specifically, we will focus on Nebraska Connections included in the standards, which aim to provide educators with relevant topics within our state to explore with students.  Using several Nebraska Connections, participants will engage in interactive lessons at Wildlife Safari Park.

Join us for one day or both!  On day 1, we will be exploring Nebraska Connections in the life science standards.  On day 2, we will be exploring earth science connections to Nebraska.
