On August 21, 2017, a significant partial solar eclipse will be visible across the United States and Nebraska is at the center of totality! Join Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium and Fontenelle Forest for a workshop where we will help you prepare to experience the eclipse with your students. This workshop will cover the science behind a total/partial eclipse, how humans and animals react, and what to expect during the eclipse. Plus, learn how to make simple and inexpensive viewing devices with your class.
