    Learn the basics of Adobe Photoshop, the toolbar and menu functions, how to manipulate a digital image, learn basic photo correction, basic layers and filters. You are welcome to bring scanned/digital photos you would like to experiment with. Bring a 16 GB flash drive if you would like to save files and class resources. Headphones will be provided however, you are welcome to bring your own earbuds/headphones.(one session)

Sign up for a 15-minute hands-on demonstration of their HTC VIVE system in the Active Learning Lab, facilitated by their friendly Do Space staff and volunteers. Demo time slots are first-come, first-serve during a 2-hour time frame every Monday evening. HTC VIVE demonstrations recommended for ages 11 and up. Do Space's HTC VIVE system is sponsored by their friends at Great Plains Communications.

    Topics will include creative text, selection/masking techniques, photomerge, content aware, bridge and minibridge, painting techniques, puppet warp, 3-D animation, and basic photo restoration and enhancement. You may bring and practice on your own scanned/digital photos. Bring a flash drive (16GB recommended) if you would like to save any of your files. (one session)

    “Women Advance IT” is an IT leadership conference that will be held at the Nebraska Innovation Campus, 2021 Transformation Dr, Lincoln, NE 68508 on  October 2-3, 2018. This two-day conference is open to the public.

    We want to hear about programs that encourage inclusiveness and continued education in improving diversity and inclusion, growing future leaders and adding more women in IT. This year’s Emerging Tech track will focus on STEM, we encourage students to submit proposals on their research projects. Program proposals  are currently being accepted through June 29, 2018.
