Get ready to move with this active week of camp at the museum!
Enjoy everything from relay races to dancing as you stay busy
with movement and activity. You might even learn the history of
these activities while you have a blast moving and shaking your
way through the week! This camp is for 1st-6th graders and lasts from July 22-26 from 9:00 am- 12:00 pm.

    Come visit the Biomechanics Research Building at UNO to explore how mathematics helps scientists understand how the human body moves!  Biomechanics is the study of the forces that act on the body and the effects they produce.  At this event you will get to tour our state of the art research laboratories that explore human movement, virtual reality, prosthetic design, machining and prototyping, and animal movement. The event is on September 17th from 4:30pm - 6:30pm.

    Kite enthusiast Randy Fox will be here to teach us about the history and impact of kite flying.  Then we will construct our own kites by upcycling waste materials.     The UNO STEM TRAIL (Teaching, research, and inquiry-based learning) Center is Omaha's newest STEM center that seeks to actively engage youth in STEM activities.
