On August 21, 2017, a significant partial solar eclipse will be visible across the continental United States and Nebraska is at the center of totality! Join Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium and Fontenelle Forest for a workshop where we will help you prepare to experience the eclipse with your students.  This workshop will cover the science behind a total/partial eclipse, how humans and animals react, and what to expect during the eclipse.  Plus, learn how to make simple and inexpensive viewing devices with your class.   This joint workshop will be held at Fontenelle Forest.
