Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium
Address: 3701 S 10th St, Omaha, NE 68108, USA

View our newest Lozier Giant Screen Theater® movie, Backyard Wildeness, showing through the spring.  During this interactive workshop, we will delve into lessons developed around the main themes of the movie: ecosystems and adaptations.  This workshop is open to all educators (formal and informal), but is geared towards those that work with students in grades 3-8.

About the Movie
Spanning a seasonal year around a suburban home, Backyard Wilderness 3D displays unique wildlife imagery and behavior, all captured by cameras mounted inside dens, nests and moving along forest floors and pond bottoms. We follow Katie, a young girl, and her family, who are absorbed by an array of electronic devices. At first, oblivious to the natural world just outside their home. Katie gradually discovers the intricate secrets that nature has hidden so close to her front door and we experience the joy she finds in her interactions with this newly discovered world. Admission is 20$ and includes movie and lunch
