Have you ever held a chicken? You just might get the chance at this all-about-animals camp. All kinds of interesting animals will show up…cats, dogs, horses, and more! Enjoy activities focused on our animal friends. Other camp activities will include swimming, challenge course, and archery. Please bring a sack lunch daily. Family Night and Optional Overnight will be Thursday evening.
Arrival/Departure: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. each day
Register by: Sunday, June 9, 2019
Girl Cost: $230, includes transportation, activities, supplies, t-shirt, and patch

    Come visit the Biomechanics Research Building at UNO to explore how mathematics helps scientists understand how the human body moves!  Biomechanics is the study of the forces that act on the body and the effects they produce.  At this event you will get to tour our state of the art research laboratories that explore human movement, virtual reality, prosthetic design, machining and prototyping, and animal movement. The event is on September 17th from 4:30pm - 6:30pm.

    Kite enthusiast Randy Fox will be here to teach us about the history and impact of kite flying.  Then we will construct our own kites by upcycling waste materials.     Our UNO Women in Aviation Chapter is having a Girls in Aviation Day event on Saturday, October 5th, 10 am-12 pm. It will be at Oracle Aviation at Millard Airport this year. It is open to girls in 3rd-8th grade. Registration is open to the first 30 girls.
