All day June 4, 2018 Beginning June 4th, 2018, the EON Reality VR Innovation Academy will provide 16 weeks of theoretical and practical training and 33 weeks of project-based training. The learners will develop skills to create Augmented & Virtual Reality applications for many diverse fields, such as health care, architecture, and product visualization. The course requires a commitment to training through June 21, 2019 learning from experts in the field of AR/VR and developing and enhancing skills as the course teams (alongside the same AR/VR experts) work on real-world projects from varied market segments. This year, it will feature keynote speaker Jessica Zhang. She received her master’s degree in Management Information Systems at IS&T and has an illustrious career that spans from Zynga to Slack. This year’s Summit will also include building your own mini-computer and learning about how to become an authentic leader. It’s free for high schoolers, IS&T community members (current student and faculty/staff), and school teachers. If you’re from outside the Omaha metro they can put you up in a hotel room, all you have to do is register.
