The Aquatic Society Club of Omaha, Nebraska uses science in conjunction with their community service projects, such as their mission to aid in supplying accessible food with their tilapia fish. Their sustainable farming fish systems with the Nebraska Games and Parks have provided over 230 meals to their area, with future yields being 1,200 meals! Club members have also engaged in a state conservation project to provide free environmental landscaping while also expanding the habitats of pollinators such as the Monarch Butterfly.
